"I studied through 4 semesters of LELP. I didn't experience big improvement at first, but the more I participated the more I began to enjoy English conversation, and I kept coming back. Now in 2026 I'm in the U.S. through the UGRAD program. LELP was more than English improvement — it broadened my cultural literacy through meeting international participants, and it gave me the courage to come to the U.S."
